Using the power of superfoods to overcome health challenges

The value of good nutrition cannot be over emphasized. The state of your health is directly linked to the food and drink you consume. Our modern diet which consist of processed foods, fast foods, chocolate and fatty foods, is devastating the lives of millions of people.

Modern supermarket food is devitalized due to contaminants and processing. Most people today live on a diet of over-processed and over-cooked food, not to mention coffee, sugar, chocolate, junk food, prescription drugs and alcohol. Our environment is more toxic, has more chemical pollutants in it and less oxygen than ever before. To regain our health we must eat foods as nature intended.

The power behind Organic fresh raw foods has largely been ignored by orthodox medicine. Raw food contains digestive enzymes that nature provides is lost through cooking. If you don’t get these digestive enzymes from your food, your body has to make them. This means that your body is being depleted of your energy resources. Over time when the human body is drained of its capacity to derive and store these important enzymes, you die! Thus, this is an important part of one’s health and longevity.

Anything that goes into the body has to be assimilated or eliminated. The vast majority of people eats food that that drains them rather than replenish them with energy. That is why you can have more than six hours of sleep and still feels exhausted!

A lack of nutrition in your blood can cause everything from low energy and a weak immune system to virtually any disease. Your speed and ability to recover from ill health are greatly reduced when you are nutritionally depleted. Nutrition is what builds every cell, every organ and every metabolic chemical in your body. Nutrition is what builds your body; it’s what YOU are made of. It is the basis of which other healing materials will work with. Having a rich supply of nutrition in your blood gives you energy, vitality, strength, and protects you from disease and illness, and if you get sick, speeds up your recovery dramatically.

The origins of modern diseases

Disease shortens life. In 1796 the average lifespan in the United States was 25 years. In 1900 it was 47. In 1997 it was 82 years. At the beginning of the 20th century we had polio, meningitis tuberculosis and smallpox. Thanks to our conquests we have overcome those diseases and living loner. However, we are now faced with a different set of diseases. Cancer, heart, disease, diabetes, hypertension and Aids. With the old diseases death was relatively quick. Now despite the fact that there more doctors and scientists than ever before, we have more ‘attrition’ diseases-arthritis, emphysema, atherosclerosis, Candida, diabetes etc are diseases that damage the quality of life rather than terminate it.

How did all this begin? What brought about a shift in the different types of diseases in the last 100 years? One common theory was a brought about the changes in our lifestyle. Before the second-world war food production and output was still restricted to small natural products where people ate in small portions and ate food that was cooked from source. The second-world war came with all its devastating effects, brought scarcity of food and rationing. The previous decade the western world faced the deepest recession possibly in history. After the second-world war and peace was very much settled around the world, there was an emergence of large scale food production that made food cheaper and accessible.

These industrial made foods contained toxins that poisoned our body.

It was this coupled with people’s insatiable amount consuming large amount of these foods brought a ‘new kind of illnesses to the populace. After the scarcity people just felt they needed to indulge in a high consumption lifestyle that brought havoc to their health. They wanted to carry out acts that were considered a part of being in a free society- more food, alcohol, tobacco, cars, air travel, fast foods, recreational drugs etc.

Unfortunately these ‘freedoms’ came at a high price. The price has come with a more damaged environment and health that is out of harmony with its optimal self.
