Drinking adequate clean water is key to a healthy existence!
Drinking water is vitally important to becoming and remain healthy. Our bodies consist of 70% water and our blood 94%. Therefore water plays a vital part in our wellbeing.
Drinking water has become substituted for other drinks that cause us harm. Fizzy drinks and caffeinated drinks are taken more than pure water itself. One single measure that is more important than getting enough nutrients in your body is drinking plenty of water. Ideally you should be drinking about four liters of water every day. If that sounds too much to you right now, don’t worry. As you hydrate your body properly, you will develop more thirst for water. Don’t forget food cravings are often your body crying for out water. You might even have more of a thirst than you realize.
A person is dehydrated long before they feel thirsty. The body can survive on the minimal, so it will shut down systems that will not be absolutely necessary for life. Mental clarity is the first thing that goes, followed by the elimination process. It is not long before the body overheats and becomes clogged up. The life of the person is endangered. The body is then living on ‘auto pilot mode’ until such a time it is able to get enough water back into the system.
Most people are constantly in a state of dehydration
Some health professionals consider dehydration as the underlying factor behind human disorders and claim that it is a silent epidemic.
Even mild dehydration makes you more susceptible to viruses. For most people, with an immune system compromised from my battle with terminal cancer, water is a powerful weapon in their war on colds and other illnesses. I've also found that water helps me recover more quickly from any illness.
Do suffer from constipation? Migraine headaches, feeling sluggish and are constantly tired? Are you overweight or wonder why you do not feel clear headed as you normally would do?
Chances are that you are dehydrated. Drinking plenty of pure water can immediately clear up these symptoms. You will have more energy and mental clarity to begin with.
